Your data.
Your request.
How to request removal of website-request data or SCENE beta data, including information obtained from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn. Updated 8 October 2026.
Email your request.
Email support@scenehq.co.uk, preferably from your SCENE account or early-access email. Identify the workspace and relevant social account or Page, if applicable. Tell us whether you want an early-access request, one connection's data or the entire workspace removed. Never include passwords or access tokens.
Verification and handling.
We may ask for the minimum information needed to confirm your identity and authority over shared workspace data. An operator must review the scope, resolve uncertain deliveries, remove the applicable records and media, and confirm the outcome or explain any information that must be retained. An email or in-app request is not confirmation that erasure is complete.
Workspace owners can also export their records and media and submit a deletion request in Settings → Data. That request pauses publishing and requires support follow-up; it is not immediate erasure. We handle requests within the applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful extension, refusal or limited retention. Operator-created encrypted recovery snapshots expire after seven days. A separate deletion register keeps removed studios inaccessible if a snapshot is restored. Hosting logs and any provider-managed backups follow their separate retention arrangements; support explains any records that remain restricted and why. We confirm the result of your request rather than treating an email or button click as proof of deletion.
Disconnecting is different.
Disconnecting a direct destination removes SCENE's stored connection credentials, but not its historical campaign or measurement records. You can also revoke SCENE's access in the social platform's account settings. Neither action removes posts already published there. Use the platform's own controls for those posts and request SCENE data deletion separately.
Read the privacy notice for more detail. For YouTube, you can also revoke SCENE through your Google account permissions. For Facebook and Instagram, remove SCENE in Meta’s business integrations or connected-app settings. Revoking platform access and asking SCENE to delete stored data are separate steps.
